Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) – “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
To fulfill your God-given purpose, it is vital to pursue knowledge and expand your intellectual capacity. This journey begins with a mindset of intentional learning. Intentional learning involves adopting a way of thinking that equips you to excel in what God has called you to do. God has placed within you the potential to make an impact, but to realize this fully, you must acquire the right knowledge and skills specific to your chosen field.
A degree or certification can open doors and give you an edge, but learning should not stop there. Spend time reading, researching, and studying to gain deeper insights and understand the principles that lead to success. Growing in wisdom and understanding will position you to set new records and influence the world around you for God’s glory.
Therefore, if you desire to set new records in this new year, you must go for information. Prioritize acquiring knowledge and wisdom over pleasure. Let your hunger for understanding lead you, knowing that God rewards those who seek wisdom and pursue it diligently. Glory to God!
START-UP PRAYER
Oh Lord, give me a desire for knowledge and wisdom. Help me to value understanding and to pursue it with all my heart, that I may fulfill the purpose You have for my life in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
BURKINA FASO
Extreme poverty has led to massive migration of workers to Cote d’Ivoire for seasonal work, where the majority convert to Islam. Approximately half the population is Muslim and the remainder is equally divided among Christians and ethnic religions. Unfortunately, each of these groups is also deeply involved in the occult. The church has not escaped the challenges facing the Burkinabe. There is great need for leadership, mentoring, financial support, and a willingness to evangelize the unreached.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that every occult power over this land be broken and made decisively subordinate to the name of Jesus in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you restrain and completely remove those with wicked ambitions and intentions among the leadership of this nation in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for supernaturally renewed strength, alertness and watchfulness upon the nation’s defense system in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, we pray that you empty the church of its personal vendettas, preference arguments, secret sins, and wrong beliefs so that the Holy Spirit may become more prevalent among us in Jesus Name,
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, we ask that You grant repentance to those who are lost, leading them to a full knowledge of the truth and a life surrendered to You, in Jesus Name.
