Colosians 3: 2
The quality of your mind determines the quality of your success. God’s desire
and plan is for everyone of His children to do something purposeful and
powerful with their lives. God wants you to succeed because your success is God’s success. He has wired into you the strength that you require to succeed and also placed resources in the earth to ensure you become the best of your life. The extent of your present success is a product of the quality of your mind.
God has given you the ability to develop your mind according to Colossians 3:1-2 andthatissolelyyourresponsibility. IfyouhaverisenwithChrist,youshouldset your mind on Christ. Whatever you want to do, you have to set your mind on achievingthosethings. Settingyourmindactuallymeansprogrammingyourmind in the direction of what you have decided to achieve without allowing external forces of distraction.
Knowing that all you need to succeed is within you and all the resources you need has been made available, begin to program your mind in tune with what you have set out to achieve. It could be that you want to take on a new project and it does not look like there is anything on ground for you to work with. You must be conscious that you have an excellent mind in Christ. So, set your mind on the reality of God’s Word that assures you that He has made all things available to you that you need for life and godliness. Once you start, everything would surely fall into.
ACTION POINTS:TO ACTIVATE THE WORD IN YOU TODAY, CARRY OUT ALL THE ACTION POINTS (A – I) SEQUENTIALLY

1 .Receive grace to set your mind on your goals this year in Jesus name
2.As you step out today, may the favor of God rest on you in Jesus name.

I. Have goals for the year and be determined to hit those goals without fail.
C. SPEAK THESE WORDS OVER YOUR LIFE CONTINUOUSLY TODAY:
I decree and I declare that I am led by the Spirit of God today.
D.STARTUP PRAYER:
Dear Father, help me to run this year without distractions in Jesus name.
E.REDEDICATE YOURSELF TO JESUS TODAY
Father, I thank you for this new day and the privilege you have given me to know you and to walk with you by faith. I am grateful for the revelation of your Word and the gift of your Holy Spirit. I commit myself to fellowshipping with your Word and your Spirit this day. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight and to live a life that pleases you. I consecrate my whole body, soul and spirit to you right now, in Jesus Name.Amen.

G. PRAY FOR A COUNTRY IN NEED TODAY: BARBADOS
Since settlement in 1627, Barbados has been Christian, though 20% of its population is unreached with the Gospel. There is also a recent spiritual decline with symptoms of decreasing church attendance, increased violence and crime in the nation.
PRAY FOR BARBADOS; We are praying for strength in the body of Christ in that nation, that the Christians will serve the Lord from the depth of their hearts.
H.PRAY FOR JERUSALEM
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6)
