Genesis 8:22
While the earth remaineth, seedtime, and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
As a new year begins, most persons desire to have new and improved experiences in every area of their lives. However, it will be abnormal to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result. To have a new experience, therefore, there has to be a change from the former pattern.
In order to change the harvest, one needs to change the seed that is being sown. If your life has been going in a certain direction all the time, you need to pause, check, and change the seed and harvest cycle. There is a seed that needs to be sown or a seed that you will have to stop sowing because you only reap what you sow (Gal 6:7).
God puts you in a place per time to give you an opportunity to sow, so that you can reap in the harvest. This does not refer to financial or material things only. It could be a seed of service, faithfulness, commitment, submission, obedience, and so on. So, considering your desired harvest for this year, what seeds have you begun sowing for your business, career, spiritual life, finances, etc? Determine to sow the right seeds by partnering with the Holy Spirit to do that which is required for the fruitful and bountiful harvest you desire this year.
