TAKE YOUR PLACE IN SOULWINNING

Scriptural Text:

Luke 11:21-22 - “When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.”

First Paragraph

There is an important insight in our opening text today, which is that soulwinning is more than just evangelism.

Second Paragraph

In fact, it is a spiritual exercise that involves subduing the devil and rescuing the souls of men from his grip. It also involves prayerfully relocating them from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of light.

Third Paragraph

Soulwinning involves prayerfully seeking to attract, convince, convert, admit, and disciple souls in the way of Jesus Christ – it is a spiritual exercise, one which gives the soulwinner spiritual authority over the territory where souls are being won.

Fourth Paragraph

This goes beyond human effort, as it would be impossible to win a soul without aligning with the Lord.

Partnering with the Lord Jesus in seeking and saving the lost is one of the greatest privileges of man.

Sixth Paragraph

Faithfulness in this helps you to exercise your authority in Christ, which eventually pulls an immense greater measure of God’s glory into your life. This is why the Bible says those who win souls shine (Dan. 12:3).

Seventh Paragraph

Therefore, embrace every opportunity to get trained, and be involved in soulwinning personally and with your local church.

Eighth Paragraph

The Glory of God is just about to overshadow you as you do this!
