In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
The above scripture tells us to give thanks in everything. What does this imply? This suggests that we are to give God thanks regardless of the situation. In other words, our thanksgiving to God ought to be constant even when the situations we find ourselves are not. The Bible says that this is the will of God concerning us.
The situation you face may not be the will of God but when you thank God about it, you place yourself right in the will of God. Thus, thanksgiving repositions you in the will of God. In everything you do, consider all that you have achieved and take time out to thank God for every step of the way and every milestone you have achieved in the process.
Just like God expects us to speak to Him every day, at every time,and in everything we do; so does He expect us to give him thanks in all we do or experience in our lives. So begin to thank God right now, irrespective of what you have or don’t have, and where you are or are not. He will reposition you! Glory to God!
