Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: 1 Corinthians 12:1
In the church today, the emphasis of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is on a low key. In some places, people know little or nothing about it. The teachings to desire spiritual gifts are not being taught or are rarely being taught. The assumption is that the gifts were only peculiar with the early church and ended then, but this is far from the truth.
The gifts of the Spirit are relevant and available to you the believer today, as they were in the early church, and God by His Holy Spirit is causing a reawakening in this direction because they are tools with which the end-time church will win the world. The gifts of the Spirit are in 3 categories: REVELATION GIFTS (Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge and Discerning of Spirits), POWER GIFTS (Gift of Faith, Gifts of Healing and Working of Miracles), and THE GIFTS OF INSPIRATION (Gift of Prophecy, Diverse Kinds of Tongues and Interpretation of Tongues).
The gifts of the Holy Spirit are the abilities of the Holy Spirit that He makes available to the believer and distributes through the believer as He wills. It is the will of God that the church is aware, and not be ignorant of the gifts of the Spirit that has been given to them for the Glory of the Father here on earth. Therefore, desire to function in some of these gifts.
Prophecy 1: May the gifts of the Holy Spirit be operational in you in Jesus’ name.
Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may there be no losses in your life and business in Jesus’ name.

W: Desire the gifts of the Holy Spirit in your life by seeking Him in the place of prayer.

The legacy of apartheid continues to impact the nation. Despite progress in some areas, inequalities and injustices of the past continue to shape the future. There is still the need for much reconciliation among all races. Rape and violent crime rates are alarmingly high. The proliferation of illegal firearms, poverty, desperation, and lack of justice fuels hopelessness and anarchy.
Y: We are praying for wisdom upon the government to lead the nation to economic stability, peace, and justice.
Startup Prayer: Dear Father, I pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be functional in me in Jesus’ name.
