When we thank God, we are claiming He is the Source or going to be the Source of the object of our thanksgiving or our expectation. Our opening scripture reveals that whatever comes from Him has overcoming power.
Thus, when you thank God for your job, looking unto Him as the Source, it becomes impossible for that job to stolen by the enemy or manipulated to work against you; because whatever has its origin in God overcomes! That is another way of saying when God says yes, who can say no? Or, if God be for us, who can be against us? The same thing occurs when you give God thanks for your children, your church, etc. Your thanksgiving enthrones God as the Source of all you have received and therefore gives what you have received overcoming status, as whatever is born of God overcomes the world.
What could hinder you anymore when your thanksgiving causes that which you have to overcome the operations of the world and the enemy? Absolutely nothing. It’s time therefore to apply the Word to that situation or thing and make it a matter of thanksgiving. The hindering forces are sure to crushed! Glory to God!
