“For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 1:8
Our opening scripture today reveals that there are some ingredients that make a man fruitful in the knowledge of Christ. This means that when you have these things in your life, you will not be barren or unfruitful. What are these things that guarantee your fruitfulness?
In addition to faith, you ought to have virtue, which refers to goodness or moral integrity, knowledge, temperance or self-control, endurance, godliness, brotherly kindness and love (I Peter 1:5-7).
If these things abide in you and abound, you will not be barren or unfruitful. This is a sure way to fruitfulness. Pray now and ask the Holy Spirit to help you walk in these virtues, so that you may be fruitful.
Prophecy 1: Receive grace to walk in these virtues in Jesus’ name.
Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may helpers arise on your behalf in Jesus’ name.

Growth in the mainline Churches has been good but sporadic. The need is great for more evangelists and church planters. AIDS continues to spread and affect many. It has now afflicted over 1.7 million and orphaned over one million children.
