‘To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance’ ECC 3:1-4
Timing is very important in obedience hence we must pay attention to it. The life we live is built around time in form of years, months, days, hours etc., and hidden within it are opportunities that could be lost if we fail to attend to them promptly. The plan and purposes of God are also crafted in time. Our text today reminds us that for everything on earth God has ordained a time and a season. Therefore, it would be wise of us to be prompt in carrying out God’s instructions so we wouldn’t miss out on the favour He has set in time for us.
We can learn a great deal from the story of Abraham. God asked that he sacrifice his only son(Genesis 22:3.) Although God did not tell Abraham the exact time to sacrifice, the Bible records that Abraham arose early the next morning to do what God had instructed. God most certainly marveled at his promptness to obey Him. Abraham later found out it was all a test and that God had things all planned out! Glory to God!
Procrastination should have no place in you. When God speaks to you about a matter, set out to obey Him without delay. He has a favour awaiting you in time, and your prompt obedience to His voice would lead you straight into it. Make up your mind to be prompt in doing whatever God tells you to do today. That is the way to favour.

Tuvalu
Tuvalu faces an uncertain future. Very limited resources, possible rising sea levels and modern/global external influences make this traditional culture fragile, both environmentally and socially.
Y: We are praying that wisdom would prevail in preserving Tuvalu as a nation and culture, and that the long-standing presence of the Church would play a major role in this.
Start up PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace to be prompt to do all I am expected to do in Jesus name.
