USE THE NAME OF JESUS

📖 Philippians 2:9-10
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;”

By virtue of Christ’s obedience to the Father in dying on the cross, and by His resurrection; God gave Him a Name that is superior to any other name. Our scriptural text shows us that the authority vested in that Name causes every knee to bow. What a Name!
 
However, it is the understanding of the name Jesus, coupled with faith in His name that activates the power therein. Jesus Himself already assured us that in His Name, we can dispel all evil influences (Mark 16:17). It is important to have this in your heart each time you use the Name of Jesus. God has given you the license or authorization to use the Name of Jesus. There is no demonic power including Satan himself that will not flee when you use the name in faith.

Therefore, have confidence in the name of Jesus, and expect compliance at every level each time you call His name. Halleluyah!.

START-UP PRAYER:
Father, I thank for the revelation of the power in your Name. I ask for grace to approach every challenge with boldness in your name in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BAHAMAS
Bahamians enjoy religious freedoms, with the majority of the population being Christian.However, Wealth and material things have become extremely important in Bahamian culture and have contributed to a rise in crime – mainly armed robbery and petty theft. Standards of morality have decreased, especially more births out of wedlock and drug use. While the majority of the people claim to be Christian, fewer are committed to the Church, and many churches lack pastoral leadership. The people need spiritual guidance and encouragement to continue the Lord’s work and to minister to the younger generation and the Haitian refugees.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, We ask that you cause a mighty  revival among the young people so that they will desire to live  for you in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADER:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray for the Prime minister  of this nation and we ask that you give him divine wisdom to lead this country in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR ISREAL:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray for Israel and we ask that you will be gracious unto them and impart your wisdom into them in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR THE CHURCH:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that you would grant wisdom and understanding to church leaders, so they can make decisions that honor You, reflect Your  character and shepherd Your people in Jesus Name.

PRAYER SOULS/REVIVAL:
Father, in the Name of Jesus,we intercede for the unsaved in our Nation and we ask for divine intervention to break them from strongholds of darkness in the Name of Jesus.
