Every other year, people make new year resolutions- many of which are never actualized. While it is not bad to have a new year resolution, you must understand that there is no victory without a fight. So before coming
up with a resolution for the year, you must first make a resolve to identify and mortify whatever it is that would hinder you from achieving what you have resolved to achieve.
Scripture tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. So, this means there is a warfare. However, being born again gives you an edge in this warfare because your weapons are not what the enemy can comprehend. They are the arsenals of God. While the enemy may come in the physical, you can control what controls the physical.
Are you born again? Don’t step into the year without the advantage of fighting from another realm. Set your mind for an unstoppable victory right from the beginning! Understand your enemy and his strategies against you which perhaps have long prevailed. The key to accomplishing the resolutions you have set is in your understanding of the battle ground. Arm yourself today. In Christ Jesus, you are victorious

Father, I thank you for this new day and the privilege you have given me to know you and to walk with you by faith. I am grateful for the revelation of your Word and the gift of your Holy Spirit. I commit myself to fellowshipping with your Word and your Spirit this day. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight and to live a life that pleases you. I consecrate my whole body, soul and spirit to you right now, in Jesus Name. Amen.

G. PRAY FOR A COUNTRY IN NEED TODAY: BAHAMAS
More than 90 percent of the population of the Bahamas professes the Christian religion, and most attend services regularly. However, Jehovah’s Witness and Muslim communities also are very active in the nation and about 10% of its total population is still unreached with the Gospel.
PRAY FOR BAHAMAS; We are praying for revival in the Churches in Bahamas, that the church would be known for righteousness, holiness and love.
H.PRAY FOR JERUSALEM
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6)
