And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’ ” Job 28:28
Most of the scientists, who laid the foundation of science, were all people who feared God. It was their knowledge of God and fellowship with Him that led to the research that gave birth to science, because God is the 1st scientist, he is ULTIMATE. You cannot lay the foundation of anything without the fear of God.
You haven’t started operating in the wisdom of God, until the fear of God is in your heart. The fear of the Lord activates wisdom. A man that fears God will operate in the instruction of wisdom, because the first thing wisdom does is to expose you to the fear of God, and when you take that step, wisdom begins to reveal the deeper things of God to you- this is because, God will never give His holy things to dogs.
James 1:5 clearly states that -If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Therefore ask God for the grace and wisdom to walk in His fear.
