The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
Proverbs 13:4
Diligence is careful and persistent work or effort towards achieving a desired goal. The goals you set help you to be diligent. Goals make you healthier because your health is perfected when you
know what you need to do. Medical research shows that the stress in your life increases when you are uncertain about the things you want to do, because your blood pressure increases, which invariably affects your health.
Diligence is a great virtue that you need to exhibit irrespective of the working condition you are subject to because it surely has its reward sooner or later. Not only does diligence cause you to achieve your goals but it also makes a favourable impression on others about you. It is a combination of both hardwork and patience which will in the long run, always produce the desired result.
You might be working in an organization and it seems like your efforts are not appreciated; could it be that diligence is lacking in your work approach? When you love your work, you will be diligent in what you do and will excel in delivering exceptional service that will positively affect your appraisal.

1 Receive grace to diligently pursue your goals in Jesus name

Father, I thank you for this new day and the privilege you have given me to know you and to walk with you by faith. I am grateful for the revelation of your Word and the gift of your Holy Spirit. I commit myself to fellowshipping with your Word and your Spirit this day. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight and to live a life that pleases you. I consecrate my whole body,spirit and soul right now amen.

G.PRAY FOR A COUNTRY IN NEED TODAY: BELARUS
18% are unreached with the Gospel. Recently, foreign missionary presence is slowly being squeezed out because visas for foreign religious workers are being refused.
PRAY FOR BELARUS: We are praying for the Christians in Belarus, that they will be strengthened with might in their inner man to serve the Lord.
H.PRAY FOR JERUSALEM
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6)
