TRAVAIL FOR THE LOST

📖 2 Corinthians 4:4
“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

Those who are not saved are under the influence of satan and separated from God’s loving presence. However, Jesus has made a way for everyone to experience salvation and be reconciled to God. While God’s desire is for all to receive this gift, we can play a role in praying for their freedom and salvation through intercession.

Interceding for souls is a bold declaration of war against the forces of darkness that hold people captive. Through this intense spiritual stand, we partner with the Holy Spirit, who intercedes through us, to shatter the demonic chains and hindrances that bind them. As we pray, we release them into the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the very image of the living God, freeing them to embrace His liberating truth and experience His overwhelming Love.

Therefore, It’s not enough to merely wish for the salvation of the lost, we must take action by dedicating time to travail for souls in our communities and around the world, so they may experience the freedom and light of the Gospel. Hallelujah!

START-UP PRAYER:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I pray for those who are lost, I ask that their eyes and minds be opened to the truth of the Gospel. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we bind every force keeping them in darkness and declare their freedom in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BAHAMAS
Bahamians enjoy religious freedoms, with the majority of the population being Christian. However, wealth and material things have become extremely important in Bahamian culture and have contributed to a rise in crime – mainly armed robbery and petty theft. Standards of morality have decreased, especially more births out of wedlock and drug use. While the majority of the people claim to be Christian, fewer are committed to the Church, and many churches lack pastoral leadership. The people need spiritual guidance and encouragement to continue the Lord’s work and to minister to the younger generation and the Haitian refugees.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we break every hold of deception creeping into the nation; we declare that it fails right now in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS:
Dear Father, You are the builder of all things, cause the leaders in this nation to work together harmoniously and not get sidetracked by partisan politics in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you break the strongholds of religion, pride and wickedness that seek to control Israel in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH

Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the vision of the church will be focused on seeking and saving the lost like Christ did in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we decree that the feet of ripe souls are led our way today so that they may be established in your kingdom in the Name of Jesus.
