Courage is a word that has been used to describe people who have overcome tremendous obstacles and challenges. It is a word often associated with the likes of David before Goliath, or Martin Luther King Jr. who confronted racism head on in his day. Yet, courage is not a trait that is exclusive to famous people in history. It is an ability that everyone can demonstrate in everyday life.
Courage is the ability to face fear, danger, or difficulty with confidence and bravery. It is being willing to take risks and to stand up for something you believe in.
For example, it takes courage to try something new, to launch a new idea or product, or to confront a friend who is being unruly.
Unlike what most people think, courage is not being fearless. It is acting in spite of fear even when the outcome is uncertain. It is hoping for the best in the face of defeat, and anchoring your faith in God’s ability to make all things work together for your good (Rom. 8:28).
Therefore, whether you need a courage to do the right thing even when it is unpopular, or courage to face your anxieties and fears, develop the willingness to face your challenges while believing for the best. And, even if you seem to fail, do not be too hard on yourself. Remember, the righteous man falls seven times, yet he rises up again! (Prov. 24:16).

🏞️ PRAYER FOR A NATION – NAURU
Having received the Gospel in the early 1900s, Nauruans are still quite religious (91.5% Christian). But, for many, their faith is works-based, with little understanding of the Gospel.
1. Prayer for the nation: Oh Lord, we pray for the unsaved in the nation, that they will submit to the Lordship of Jesus and be saved, in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the leaders of Nauru, that they will lead the nation in all godliness and honesty, in Jesus Name.
🕍PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen
💒 PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
