THE AWESOMENESS OF GOD
SCRIPTURAL TEXT
Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.- Nehemiah 9:6
Even though we try to describe or sing songs that tell of God’s awesomeness and magnificence, the truth is no one can fully grasp or understand in totality the greatness and awesomeness of God. In order to catch a glimpse of the awesomeness of God, set some time apart and consider the beauty, the depth and vastness of His creation. The oceans, the mountains, the birds of the air, the plants and animals, and many more, too numerous to mention, and even the earth that is suspended without any external support. They are but a few amongst the amazing natural attractions that God created.
Our opening scripture reveals that it is God who preserves all creatures! What a humbling truth! He is the Origin and Sustenance of every existing thing. When we consider the magnificence of God who created all things for Himself(Colossians 1:16), we cannot but fear and tremble before His awesome presence. Indeed, He is powerful, magnificent and awesome!
As you daily experience the majesty and beauty of God displayed all around you in creation, and in you His creature, position your heart to see the Creator and fear greatly before Him! The host of heaven worships Him! Halleluyah!
Prophecy 1: Receive grace and wisdom to reverence God in His magnificence in Jesus name.
Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may testimonies abound in your life in Jesus name.

W: Daily meditate on his magnificence and greatness so you can fear before Him constantly.
