ADD VALUE TO YOURSELF

“Ecclesiastes 10:10 (MSG) – Remember: The duller the axe the harder the work; Use your head: The more brains, the less muscle.

Our opening text today shows us that a person of value labours with his brain and not his muscles, implying that a person of value is a problem solver who accomplishes a task with carefully thought-through processes.

A person who is growth-conscious is one who constantly adds value to himself. To add value to yourself is to increase your relevance in your field of endeavour. This can be done by getting abreast of the latest information in your field, or simply by increasing your problem-solving ability.

Therefore, if you desire to become a person of great relevance, you must be determined to add value to yourself daily, and never stop growing in your thinking capacity.

Take a course, read books, research, and keep company with those who naturally inspire or add value to you. This way, you will be setting yourself up to stand before kings and not mere men.

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, help me to be diligent in growing my thinking capacity and adding value to myself daily, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – POLAND
After suffering the loss of one quarter of its population during WWII, Poland struggled to avoid falling into financial ruin under the direction of the Soviet Union. There is a desperate need for evangelical witnesses, with 90% of the municipalities having no church, while Pagan, Wiccan, and New Age religions are gaining followers.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we break every hold of the devil over this nation that is keeping the people from seeing the light; we pray that their eyes be opened in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus,we ask that you will give the leaders of this nation, a heart for justice and truth, in Jesus name.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the church will become more conscious and fully involved in the ministry of reconciliation and evangelism, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will cause the heart of every unsaved soul in our city to be fertile and prepared to receive the Good News of the gospel that we bring to them, in Jesus name.
