“For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”
Hebrews 10:36
Impatience has taken many out of alignment with God. Impatience refers to the desire to acquire the promises of God by your own power, outside the timing of God. Every promise of God has an appointed time, so we ought to be patient to receive that promise.
Sadly, so many lack patience, so they set about trying to achieve things on their own. Not only does this put them out of alignment with God, they end up compromising and making costly mistakes. When you are impatient, you may take decisions or step outside the will of God for your life and when you lose alignment, you cannot hear His voice and direction.
Therefore, you have to train yourself to be patient and wait for God. Because, when patience has finished its work in you, you will be perfect and entire, lacking nothing. God has a great plan for your life, but it has timing. So, be patient so that you would not lose alignment, and thus miss out on His plans and purposes for your life.
