Listen to Praying the Promises
2 Corinthians 4:8-9 KJV– “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.”
Life is often filled with trials and setbacks that test the strength of your faith in God. The temptation to give in to discouragement or defeat becomes real when conditions around you appear overwhelming or struggles persist.
Resilience is the inner strength that refuses to bow under pressure, anchored firmly on God’s faithfulness and His promises. Our scriptural text reminds us that trials and persecution are not intended to destroy us. As children of God, we only face trials with God’s approval, which means we have the strength and capability to endure, because His Spirit lives within us. Being resilient, therefore, means that even in the face of difficulties, our trust in God empowers us to rise again, no matter how many times we fall.
Decide today to remain unshaken by the challenges you encounter in your journey this year. Trust that God is working all things for your good. Stand firm in faith, and let nothing deter you from fulfilling His purposes for your life. Hallelujah!

PRAYER FOR A NATION
Burundi
Ninety-four percent of Burundians identify themselves as Christian, but syncretism and false teachings have subverted the truth of the Gospel. Realizing that shallow Christianity cannot meet the challenges of life, Burundians have been purging their churches of false practices and have seen sustained evangelical growth. But ethnic strife has forced most Bible schools to close and has left the nation with few trained leaders and pastors.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray against the use of ethnic strife by the enemy to hinder church planting, we ask for the implantation of peace in the hearts of these ethnic groups, that they may call for a truce by the hand of God in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that the leaders in this land will surrender totally to Your Lordship, that they may become vessels fit for Your use in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that the Jews in Israel will have one voice, cast away every division and disagreement among them, that they may stand as one in executing Your will in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray against the lusts of the flesh and worldliness in the church, we ask that you grant believers the willpower to withstand temptation and anything that leads to compromise in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask for a mighty move of Your spirit, that the unsaved may hear Your voice and yield to it, that souls may be harvested into the kingdom of Your dear son in Jesus Name.
