When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7

There is a level where you fight enemies but there is a higher level where God makes your enemies to be at peace with you. A good example is King David and King Solomon. David fought a lot of battles in his days but Solomon didn’t fight a single battle. All the enemies of his father David did not disappear; they were very much alive- but God made all his enemies to be at peace with him due to his honor and fear of God.

Our scriptural text shows us that it is possible to live a life of complete peace when your life pleases God. If God causes your enemies to be at peace with you when you please Him, then what do you think will happen with the helpers of your destiny? God can cause everything, even the elements of this world, to work in your favor because of your obedience. Therefore, walking in obedience to please God is not an option.

We can only be at a disadvantaged if our ways doesn’t please God. It is thus wisdom to tailor your way of life in such a way as to please God above all else and you will experience peace on every side. Glory to God!
