PARTNER WITH GOD

- Matthew 6:10 (KJV) - “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

Prayer is a special privilege given to us by God to cause a change on the earth, and in our own lives.

Our opening scripture today shows us that we can superimpose the Kingdom of God here on earth, causing the will of God to take effect here as it is in heaven. How profound!

Prayer is an important element in bringing the will of God to pass. It is partnering with God to unlock the heavenly resources He has prepared for us, allowing His purposes to manifest on earth as they already are in heaven.

Thus, a believer who desires to see the promises of God come to pass in his or her life must be a person of prayer, one who looks into the Word to search out the will of God, and engages heaven in prayer to bring the same to pass.

Therefore, decide today to be an active participant in bringing God’s plans for your life, marriage, home, career or business to pass by making prayer a priority. Align your heart with Him and pray for His will to be done in your life today. Glory to God!

START-UP PRAYER:

Father in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the privilege of partnering with You in prayer. Teach me to be diligent in my prayer walk with you, so I may see Your purposes fulfilled on earth as it is in Heaven in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION: BELIZE

The majority of Belizeans profess Christianity but often combine it with other religious practices including superstitions, paganism, and black magic.

This diluted form of Christianity is exemplified by the ten percent of people who attend church weekly, and the 70% of pastors who are bi-vocational.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION:

Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you stir up a hunger for more of Your presence amongst the believers of this land, so that through their faith, many will come to know you in Belize, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS

Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you cause the leaders of this land to seek to do your will as opposed to their selfish interest in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL

Father in the name of Jesus, cause your chosen people of Israel to know you and seek you with all their hearts ,that they may align fully with your will for the nation, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for grace to forebear one another in love, and to put away every form of malice in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that the cares of the world will stop choking the reality of eternity from the heart of the unsaved soul in and around us in Jesus Name.

2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV-“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

When we pray, we expect answers from God, but often, after praying, doubts, fears, and negative thoughts creep into our minds. These are just tactics of the enemy who takes pleasure in stealing our peace. These thoughts can steal the peace God has given us and hinder our ability to receive His answers. The enemy also uses these imaginations to disrupt the communication channel between us and God, making us question whether our prayers will truly ever be answered.

Our opening text tells us to cast down imaginations and bring every thought into obedience to Christ. Our thoughts are a battleground, and if we allow them to run unchecked, we give the enemy access to steal our peace. But by meditating on the Word of God, speaking His promises, and guarding our minds, we maintain the peace that protects our prayer channel.One way we can do this is by thinking on things that are pure, honest, and praiseworthy, reinforcing the protection of our prayers(Philippians 4:8).

Therefore, make it a daily practice to check your thoughts. Whenever you feel doubt or fear, speak God’s Word over your life and cast down those negative imaginations. Meditate on His promises, and keep your mind fixed on things that bring glory to God. As you do this, you will maintain the peace that ensures your prayers are effective and opens the door for God’s answers to manifest.

START-UP PRAYER:
Father, I thank You for hearing my prayers. I ask for the grace to guard my mind against doubts and negative thoughts. Help me to meditate on Your Word and keep my heart fixed on Your promises in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
Bhutan
Though the population of Bhutan is nearly one million, the number of Christians is very few. Churches are forbidden in all but very rare circumstances with most believers meeting in private homes to worship in secret. Bhutan is one of the least evangelized nations, and the Christians within its borders are subject to prejudice, harassment, and even physical violence.Thankfully, albeit it small, the Church is growing.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come against every strategy of the devil to turn the hearts of the people from God, we decree that their plans are completely destroyed today in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray against division in the leadership of this nation, and we ask that you will give them the heart to work cooperatively so that your will be established in this land in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you show Your loving kindness to Your people Israel and keep them as the apple of Your eye forever in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus we pray for a Holy Fear of the Lord to rest upon the church, that believers in the Body will seek to please you above all things, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask for your spirit to rest upon the unsaved soul so that they would be able to deny the flesh and turn fully to the Lord in Jesus Name.
