If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; Isaiah 1:19

The world today is plagued with disease, hunger, poverty, death and economic depression. The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected the world’s economy. The good news however is that this calamity  does not apply to you. As a child of God, you are exempted from such calamities and their effect. You should not suffer like the world or fear their fear.

In the land where God has placed you, He has made provisions for you and put things in place to ensure your peace and prosperity. There’s however a condition – OBEDIENCE. Obedience is the key that gives you access into God’s provisions for your life and destiny. The blessing of God is upon all those who hear the word of God and obey it (Luke 11:28). The bible says anything you lay your hands to do will prosper, irrespective of the economic situation because the blessing is on you.

There is the God-way to prosper and there is also the man-way of prosperity. The man-way is temporal, but the God-way of prosperity is sustainable and transcends this world into eternity. In order not to suffer like the world, make a decision to be willing and obedient and you shall of a surety, eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19). Glory to God!

Prophecy 1: May you be separated and distinguished from the world in Jesus name.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may your eyes be opened to see every opportunity on your way in Jesus name.

Action Points

W: Consider how faithful you have been in carrying out the instructions from God’s word. Are you falling short? If yes, ask God for grace to walk in obedience always.

For over 1,000 years the region was a bastion of Christendom, but it later became a strong propagator of Islam. The Christian population has declined from 22% to 0.21% since 1900. Only 0.008% of people in Turkey are evangelical. Few of the 73 million Muslims have ever truly heard the gospel.
