“Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance.”
Luke 3:8a
Repentance from sin is necessary but we must also produce fruits worthy of repentance. This means you ought to prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.
These fruits of repentance are the fruits of the spirit which we see in Galatians 5:22.
They are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.
Beyond the confession of sins, we ought to produce and manifest these fruits. In other words, when you repent, change your ways. Men ought to see the changes in your life and be drawn to Christ. (Matthew 5:16). So, as you spend time to repent before God, be determined to produce fruits worthy of repentance.
Prophecy 1: Receive strength to manifest the fruits of the Spirit in Jesus’ name.
Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may favor surround you like a shield in Jesus’ name.
