Psalm 22:3 (KJV)
“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”
Praise is one of the most powerful spiritual weapons God has given us. While prayer, fasting, and worship are essential aspects of our faith, praise has a unique ability to bring God Himself into the scene. It shifts our focus from our challenges to His greatness, reminding us of His sovereignty and faithfulness. The Bible says He inhabits the praises of His people, delighting in them as a fragrant offering. Remarkably, praise is something God cannot give Himself, which makes our praise precious to Him. When we choose to praise, especially in moments of difficulty, we open the gates for His power, favour, and wonders to manifest. Hallelujah!
The Bible is filled with powerful examples of how praise triggered instant responses. When Paul and Silas were imprisoned in Philippi, they prayed and sang hymns to God at midnight. Suddenly, an earthquake shook the foundations of the prison, opening every door and loosening every chain (Acts 16:25-26). Jehoshaphat, facing a massive enemy army, appointed singers to praise the beauty of God’s holiness as they went into battle. As they sang, God set ambushes against their enemies, leading to a miraculous victory without them lifting a sword (2 Chronicles 20:21-22). Even Jonah, in the belly of the fish, lifted his voice in thanksgiving, and God caused the fish to vomit him onto dry land (Jonah 2:9-10). These events remind us that praise is not just a response to what God has done; it is a declaration of what He will do. Glory to God!
Make it your daily discipline to praise God with all your heart, regardless of the situation. Let your praise rise, even in the face of challenges, as a weapon of faith that unlocks heaven’s resources. Fill your life with consistent, intentional praise, and watch God respond with mighty acts, switching every trial into triumph. Glory to God!

PRAYER FOR A NATION
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Religion divides the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Traditionally, Bosniaks are Muslim, Serbs are Eastern Orthodox, and Croats are Roman Catholic. Evangelicals have had some success in reaching across ethnic lines, but one obstacle to evangelism has been the lack of Christian literature in the Bosnian language, including a translated Old Testament.
