To another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 1 corinthians 12:8
The gift of the Word of Knowledge is related to facts- what is known, which means there is no mystery surrounding it. The gift of the word of knowledge deals with what exists, whether it is past or present. Unlike the word of wisdom which reveals the plans, purpose, and will of God, the word of knowledge is generic in that it simply reveals events, present, past, and future.
The Holy Spirit supernaturally reveals to you what may have happened or that which is happening already. This gift functioned in the life of Elisha in 2 Kings 5:20-27, God opened the eyes of Elisha and he saw what transpired between Naaman and Gehazi his servant. The story of Peter and Cornelius in Acts 10 is another practical example. Many times, the word of wisdom follows after the word of Knowledge. In the case where it does not, it is important to seek it in prayers. This is because the word of knowledge simply shows you what, but it takes the word of wisdom to rightly apply it.
Therefore, desire the gift of the word of knowledge to function in you, so you can navigate through life successfully.

The legacy of apartheid continues to impact the nation. Despite progress in some areas, inequalities and injustices of the past continue to shape the future. There is still the need for much reconciliation among all races. Rape and violent crime rates are alarmingly high. The proliferation of illegal firearms, poverty, desperation, and lack of justice fuels hopelessness and anarchy.
