SETTING THE RIGHT PRIORITY- DEVOTIONAL BOX

SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Luke 19 vs 10

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost

One immutable law of life and increase is Order. Order is the first law of
increase, and creating order begins with setting priorities.
As such, anyone that desires impact must learn to set his priorities right. Setting
priorities, is simply making decisions based on purpose. It is making decisions that
give you the best return for your time and resources. It is itemizing everything you
want to do daily and focusing on the things that would make the highest impact on your objective or purpose.

Our opening scripture is a great case study on the power of prioritizing. Jesus knew His mission was to seek and save the lost by laying down His life for the sins of the world. Notice how purposeful Jesus was;- every action, decision and prayer was to see that very purpose accomplished. Jesus could have led a revolution against the government of His day, or established Himself as an earthly king, but because that would not further His cause, He gave no attention to it.
This is a great lesson to learn from the Lord. Never forget that the first law of increase is order!
Decide today therefore, to examine your purpose, set your priorities right and take action on the things that make the most impact on your purpose, just like Jesus did. Glory to God!

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Dear Father, help me to set my priorities in line with my purpose in life in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR THE UNITY OF THE CHURCH

We pray that the vision of the church will be focused on seeking
and saving the lost like Christ did in Jesus name.

PRAYERS FOR NATIONS & LEADERS ( BOSNIA )

After the war, out of the 1.3 million who fled to other lands only 400,000 had returned by 2000. Most of the internally displaced are still homeless. Only a very small percentage of the population has ever been clearly presented with the Gospel.

1. We are praying for lasting fruit, that as more and more people are evangelized, their salvation will be preserved in Bosnia.
2. Dear Father, grant the leaders the grace to face unique challenges regarding political unrest, financial crisis, law enforcement, racial division and so on.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL

Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for greater wisdom, strategy and resources that will enable us reach more people in this city.
