ABOUND BY OBEDIENCE
As believers, whenever we learn something new in the Word, just like any student would, we are immediately put in a situation where that knowledge is tested in us.

God’s call for you to give yourself to Him in service is not a call unto poverty or loss. Our opening text today reminds us that He has not called us to serve Him for nothing. That means there is a reward for every form of labour we exert in the service of God.
Faith is the assurance that God hears us and that He answers those who call unto Him. Every time we pray, we demonstrate this trust.
In this world, we have been trained to always calculate everything; from our expenses to our income, from our marriage to child-bearing.
The Bible says that in every labour, there is profit (Prov. 14:23). This suggests that any effort that does not give you a return on energy expended is a waste, and whatever saps your energy is an enemy.
Just as we invest in our careers, education, and skills, we must also invest in our spiritual growth. The Word of God is a treasure of wisdom that can transform our lives.
Prayer is the right and privilege given only to righteous men by God for discovering, creating, restoring and enforcing the will of God in and around us by the release of sufficient quantity of eternity through the Spirit.
Our opening text today which is drawn from the parable of Talents taught by the Lord Jesus, shows us God’s response to bless a faithful believer,
The closer you get to God through fellowship with His Word and Spirit, the more of His fire is activated in you, giving you the boldness and confidence to do His work.
There is always more in God, therefore you must aspire for more and be willing to sacrifice and make investments of time, attention, and resources into your spiritual life if you must grow and make any meaningful impact in the Kingdom.
