Ecclesiastes 11:3a
“If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth”
In a law court, cases are hardly resolved in a day. The usual course of action is for the judge to take his time, carefully examining all evidences brought forward and then possibly adjourn the case as many times as necessary. This is so as to have sufficient time to comb through all the facts of the case before a ruling is delivered. It is much the same scenario when we intercede.
The prayer of intercession is not a one-off prayer. It is such that you pray and continue to pray until the answer comes. Our opening scripture today tells us that rain only comes when the clouds get filled up. As an intercessor therefore, you must carefully and persistently put forward your argument before God until His intervention is secured in the matter presented before Him! Halleluyah!
Having this revelation therefore, you must resolve to maintain your place in intercession for as long as it would take for God to intervene on your behalf. Do not stop praying, but continue to fill the clouds with your prayer, and in due time, you would enjoy and overflow of rain. Amen!
