Live Now: Praying the Promises 30th Nov. 2023
DECEMBER 2 , 2023
EEXPECT PERFORMANCE
“Jeremiah 1:12 (NIV) – “Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.”
Some believers today do not experience God’s supernatural and miraculous supply in their lives because they simply do not expect it, yet God has made so much available for them. The Bible says that God has made available to us everything that we could possibly need for our earthly comfort and spiritual growth (2Pet. 1:3). However, if we do not fully accept this truth, then we may never get to enjoy it in our lives.
The scripture is full of testimonies of men who through faith received what they needed from God. For instance, the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus’ garment expecting to be healed, and so it happened, validating the principle that to receive from God, your expectation sets you up for your experience. Prophet Elijah also had great expectation when he prayed that it would rain after many years of drought, because God had promised so. He sent his servant to check seven times because he expected the rain to come and that was exactly what happened. His faith expectation created his experience.
As our opening text establishes, God will hasten His Word to perform that which you have seen and believed. In other words, that which you believe for, anticipate and constantly declare, will certainly come to you! So do not relent in putting God’s Word in your mouth, and declaring your trust in His ability to do just what He has promised. Hallelujah!
