GRATITUDE ELIMINATES INSUFFICIENCY
“- John 6:11 (KJV) – “Then saAnd Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
“
Many times, we tend to focus more on what we lack rather than being grateful for what we already have. Many get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, rushing through the routines without taking a moment to appreciate the blessings of each new day, and acknowledging the goodness of God in their lives. This is not the right way to live.
It is a mistake to constantly feel like you do not have enough time or money to achieve your goals. If you could just add gratitude to these seemingly limited resources, you will see them multiply, following the example of our Lord Jesus, who gave thanks for the little he had, and saw it multiply.
Could it be that the reason you seem to have less than necessary is your lack of gratitude? Before you start asking for more today, take a moment to thank the Lord for what you already have – your money, family, a place to live, and so on – because an increase will surely follow. Glory to God!
