An overflow talks about excess or a surplus amount of something. It also means been filled beyond capacity. We see from our scriptural text today and all through scriptures that our God is a God of surplus. He brought the children of Israel out of slavery in Egypt into surplus within the twinkling of an eye! When they hungered, He rained down manna from heaven and it was more than enough.

The Bible shows us this character of God yet again when Jesus fed the multitude. He multiplied bread and fishes in excess of what was needed. This is a lesson to us that God is in the realm of overflow and as His offsprings we must also embrace the overflowing life.

The will of God for you is abundance, irrespective of your background, race or gender. God has made available for us in Christ Jesus, an abundant life. (John 10:10). Therefore, believe it, embrace it and demand it. It’s your season to overflow. Glory to God!
