Hardwork is a very important key on your journey to success. However, it is just the starting point.

Sadly, there are many who think that all they need is to work hard at what they do. This is not true, because it takes a lot more than working hard to become successful.

Our opening text shows us that applying more force or energy to a blunt axe will yield little result, unless it is sharpened. This means that working hard is not enough!

The hard work of a janitor will not make him the CEO. This is because he lacks what is required to become the CEO. There are qualities and qualifications that a CEO must possess. Hence, the janitor will have to develop those qualities and earn the qualifications, if he ever hopes to become a CEO.

This is why there are so many hardworking poor people, wondering why they have not become successful. They need to learn how to work smart.

This involves acquiring all that is required for your next level while you work hard. It may be to acquire a degree or certificate, upgrade your degree, start a business on the side, open a website or learn a craft. It is simply making preparation today for the future you see tomorrow.

Therefore, begin to prepare for the future you anticipate. Do not just work hard, work smart.

🏞️ PRAYER FOR A NATION – MOZAMBIQUE
Mozambique is about 46% Christian, 32% Ethnoreligious, and 18% Muslim. Years of suffering has led many Mozambicans to seek spiritual answers, and many churches have been planted! Yet there remains a great need for training and discipleship, particularly among the pastors and leaders of these newly planted churches.

1. Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for an outpour of your Spirit upon Mozambique, that many in darkness in the nation will come to light of the Gospel, in Jesus Name.
2. Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, give unto the leaders of Mozambique the wisdom to establish justice and equity in the nation, in Jesus Name.

🕍PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6) 
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen
