As a believer, it is important to recognize that faith and worldliness can not coexist. If your faith is to withstand the trials and temptations of the enemy, you must actively resist the pull of worldly desires.
SHOW DEPENDENCY IN PRAYER
Keeping anxiety in check begins by understanding that you have a Father who makes all things work together for good, and thus, it does not matter how bad a situation may seem, He is able to breathe life into it and cause it to turn around.
Resist the Devil
As believers, our Christian journey involves a constant spiritual battle, rather than a physical one. Faith is our most potent weapon against the devil and his schemes, which is why he works tirelessly to undermine it. T
UPGRADE YOUR VOCABULARY
As believers, it’s not just what you think that matters, but what you say because the words you speak are actually a reflection of what you believe. This is why speaking the Word of God is crucial for accessing abundance and manifesting your destiny.
GROOM YOUR EXPECTATION
The scriptures are full of testimonies of men who through faith received what they required for their assignment from God. Many others received healings, deliverance, breakthroughs etc. according to the measure of their faith.
STEP OUT
One of the most important trainings that every believer must have is knowing how to align with God in every season. The failure of many is that when God is working and setting things in place for their victory, they are ignorant of the acts of God, and therefore fail to key into the preparation that God has made in faith. How sad!
PRAY IN RIGHTEOUSNESS
God has given to us the right and the privilege of discovering, creating, restoring, or enforcing His will in and around us by the release of sufficient quantities of eternity through the Spirit. This is what prayer is all about. This privilege is however reserved for the righteous only, just as we know that God has given us His nature of righteousness and thus qualifies us to speak like Him and get the necessary compliance like He would get.
DEVELOP AN APPETITE FOR THE WORD
For a believer, studying the Word is crucial to truly knowing the Lord and growing in faith. More so, the Word of God is that which empowers you to live above sin, just like our opening scripture today shows us. This means that without a consistent desire to engage with the scriptures, a believer’s faith is bound to fail.
