POSSESS A BRIDAL HEART

Revelation 2:4 KJV
“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.’

Many believers find themselves caught in a routine of church activities—attending services early, joining prayer meetings, and winning souls—yet miss out on the opportunity to truly know the Lord.
There is nothing wrong in wanting to work for the lord, but we expose ourselves to the enemy when we don’t have adequate knowledge of how He wants us to work for Him.

As believers, one of our greatest assets is direction, and this can only come from deep fellowship with God. To be Christ’s bride, we must cultivate a heart filled with love and a deep longing to commune with the Lord. Beyond our desire to serve, win souls, or intercede for others, we must nurture a heart that seeks constant fellowship with Him. For it is from fellowship we get the direction needed to effectively work for God; any other work done without this direction is meaningless and hence, will not produce fruits.

Today, let this be a call to return to your first love, rekindling the passion to know God intimately. This is the key to a powerful prayer life and a victorious Christian walk, as it keeps the enemy at bay.
Make a commitment to set aside time daily to commune with Him, letting your heart be filled with His presence. In doing so, you will find your spiritual life renewed and your relationship with God deepened. Glory to God!

START-UP PRAYER:
Father, I repent for being carried away with my activities and neglecting my time of fellowship with you. Today, I make a commitment to put you first in everything in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BAHRAIN
83.2% of the population claim to follow Islam and 9.8% claim to be Christians predominantly foreigners) Although, Bahrain has opened its doors to some Christian influence, Proselytism remains illegal and local Christians struggle to freely practice their faith, some worshipping in secret.
According to its citizens, Bahrain still remains desperately in need of the Gospel.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the missionaries in this nation that they will be delivered from wicked and unreasonable men.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS;
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray for a move of your spirit upon the leaders of this nation that they will turn to you, seeking to know you with a heart of repentance in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we seek your face concerning Israel and we ask that you heal the land, bring unity among the people, and cause your love to shine through today in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Dear Father, we pray that You will help us to be perfected in unity, so that the whole world may come to see and know you through us in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we break every stronghold keeping the people in our city bound to darkness, we set them free by the power of the Holyghost in Jesus Name.
