Hebrews 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Many Christians question why they do not experience the will of God for their lives. They sometimes end up frustrated wanting to divert from this will because their minds cannot comprehend it. At the beginning of every New Year, there is a word from the Lord to His people that helps to guide them. The word tells the mind of God concerning the year, and our scripture above shows us our responsibility when the word comes; mix it with faith.

For every person who has accepted the Lordship of Jesus in their lives, Christ has wrought the victory for them. Even though everything has been purchased in the name of Jesus, it is your duty is to collect it in His name. Therefore, collect your healing, success, prosperity, marital breakthrough in the name of Jesus. What Christ has done for you is like a signed cheque in your hand. Having this cheque will not get you shoes, clothes, food, or housing, until the cheque is cashed then you can buy what you need. Similarly, your faith is the principle that is required to activate your victory on the earth.

Your faith is not trying to get the victory, faith activates the victory that is already won in Christ Jesus. The victory is already yours; lay hold on what Christ has given you by placing a demand with your faith in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah!

Prophecy 1: Receive a manifestation of the victory won for you in Christ in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may the love of God fill your heart in Jesus’ name, Amen.
