Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3: 5-6

A lot of believers have known and experienced the Holy Spirit at some point of their salvation or at best when they received Him with the evidence of speaking in tongues but they are unable to enjoy the full benefits of having His presence because they do not know Him as a person and have not developed a relationship with Him. It is not enough to have a relationship with Him, you must cultivate and develop your relationship with Him as a person in order to know Him more and have more of Him.

When you cultivate your relationship with the HolySpirit you can enjoy greater access to His wisdom, guidance, and love. Your knowledge and fellowship with Him as a person would determine his overall relevance in your life. You can cultivate your relationship with him by acknowledging Him (recognizing and appreciating His presence at all times), talking to him and listening to hear his voice, seeking not to grieve Him, learning from Him by studying the word and singing to Him.

Having gotten this understanding, it is imperative you take decisive steps to consciously and deliberately cultivate your relationship with the HolySpirit. Start today, by appreciating Him for the gift of His Spirit and then ask for His help to develop a better with him, ask for strength to acknowledge him always. Let the communication begin.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may you soar like an eagle in Jesus’ name.

The legacy of apartheid continues to impact the nation. Despite progress in some areas, inequalities and injustices of the past continue to shape the future. There is still the need for much reconciliation among all races. Rape and violent crime rates are alarmingly high. The proliferation of illegal firearms, poverty, desperation, and lack of justice fuels hopelessness and anarchy.
