SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Psalm 107:22
And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing

Your expression of thanks to God accompanied with a sacrifice is a way of showing the weight of your gratitude.
There is no such thing as thanksgiving when there is no sacrifice and substance accompanying it.
There is the school of thought that God is the owner of all things created and He has blessed us with this wealth and substances so, there is no need to give back to him what he has freely given to us.
It is important to understand that to give to a great man is to promote his greatness – it is an honour to his greatness.
In the same way, giving to God is an expression of how much you appreciate who He is and what He has done in your life. And, what is important to God is not the size of your gift, but how much it really cost you.
Like David who said he would never give to God that which costs him nothing (2 Samuel 24:22-24), anything you do or give to God that cost you nothing will in turn lack the power to effect desired changes in your life.
Decide today as you have set out your mind to thank God that you would give to him something that is worth the creator of the universe.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I ask for grace to give a worthy substance that
measures up to what you have done in my life this year in
Jesus name.

Background: Maldives is rated amongst the top 10 nation that needs the Gospel. 50% are unreached with the Gospel. It has one of the highest divorce rates in the world, rising crime and gang activity, abuse of children, and endemic drug use among teens.
We are praying that the door of the Gospel will be opened in the nation, that many missionaries will penetrate the
land. Dear Lord, take away pride from our leaders that they may seek out good counsel, hear wisdom from others, and

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

We pray that the church of Jesus Christ be united together in love.

Father in the name of Jesus, we bind and destroy every anti-revival strategy and operation of Satan in the
