To compromise is simply to deviate or shift from a previously established standard. It is not necessarily doing something evil. Rather, it is often an unethical concession in a bid to achieve something, or changing your vision to fit into a seemingly acceptable standard. It may also be acting to please people, even if it is against your integrity or faith.

A person of integrity does not compromise his standards because of incentives, regardless of how tempting they may be. That is how you ought to be if you desire to have lasting success.

No matter how much you want something, if the steps required to acquire it, compromises your faith and your standards, choose not to compromise.

Also, if an opportunity which is not in line with your original vision and plan presents itself, never compromise – it is usually never worth it.

Know who you are and what you want for yourself and stick to it. Do not compromise! However, to live above compromise, resolve to honour God in all your relationships and business decisions. Let your yea be yea, and your nay, nay!

1. Prayer for the nation: We are praying for a great move of God’s Spirit in the church, that many will witness the power of God in the nation, in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayer for the leaders:
Dear Father, we ask that you will sovereignly place the right people in power, those who will implement your plan and will in the nation, in the name of Jesus.
