A person with taste is a person who has a good ability to judge aesthetically, one who possesses the faculty of making discerning judgement in aesthetics–what is appealing and artistic. Also, a person with taste has a sense of what is proper and acceptable.

Sadly, some persons have little or no taste. They do not know how things are done nor do they care about the state of things around them. Some do not even seem to notice how things are. They do not notice when things are bent, or out of place. Their focus is only on getting things done regardless of the state of things around them. And they never put things in order when they are finished. This is not the spirit of excellence.

If you desire to obtain favour from God and men like Joseph in our opening scripture, you ought to acquire good taste.

First, learn to always be conscious of yourself, your environment and the proper or right way things should be done.

Also, make it a duty to study and learn what is proper and acceptable in different settings and walks of life. Learn table manners, learn what colours blend, learn some style, learn basic interior decoration, and learn how to stack or organise things. Regardless of your background, you can acquire a good taste.

Monaco is the 2nd smallest state in the world with over 30000 as population. Monaco is culturally Catholic, but the real culture is one of materialistic hedonism. It is very difficult to foster interest in spiritual things in such an environment.

1. Prayer for the nation: We are praying that the Christians in Monaco will grow in the love of Lord. That their love for God will exceed their love for this world.
2. Prayer for the leaders:Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that You will give the President of Monaco, divine wisdom to lead the country into the will of God.
