Focusing on the things above means letting the eternal realities of heaven shape your priorities, decisions and actions every day. You are to let the consciousness and value for eternal life be the reason and motivation for why you live and do the things that you do.
Our Opening Text today, shows a King called Amaziah who did everything he had been asked to do, even though he harbored a contrary opinion or hideous motive in his heart. If the Bible says Amaziahs heart was imperfect, it means that his deeds were unacceptable to God.
Challenges and uncertainties are a part of life on this earth, and often times, believers make the mistake of allowing the thoughts of this world lead them into fear and anxiety.
The agenda of God on the earth centers around seeking and saving the lost; it is the cause for which He gave up His Only begotten Son

Most importantly, when we fellowship with the written Word, we experience God’s unfailing love, which changes us from the inside out. This is the primary way that God desires us to know Him intimately.
The world we live in today is filled with countless distractions and conflicting demands, making it very easy to lose sight of what truly matters. Our opening scripture reminds us to put God first in every area of our lives, trusting solely in Him to help us navigate through life’s journey.
Thanksgiving is an act of faith which strengthens our fellowship with God and shifts our perspectives from focusing on our problems to focusing on God’s provision and mercy. It is the password that unlocks God’s presence to us.
