CHOOSE TO BE JOYFUL
Philippians 4:4
“ Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.”

Negative emotions are feelings that cause one to be miserable and sad. They include bitterness, anger, malice, unforgiveness, wrath, strife and envy. The Bible shows us that they are works of the flesh (Gal 5:21), and the devil takes advantage of them to attack the mind and body of those who harbour them, giving room to sickness and all forms of demonic oppression.

When we entertain and dwell upon negative emotions, we limit the operation of the Holy Spirit around us, because it is joy that sponsors His works in and around us. This is why our opening text instructs us to rejoice always, because being joyful in all instances remains the key to enjoying God’s Presence. (Psa. 64:5a).

Therefore, in spite of how much or how bad others may have hurt you, the Lord Jesus says to forgive, so that God will forgive your own trespasses as well. You might even be in serious pains right now because of hurt or sickness; do not give in to those negative emotions. Instead, fill your heart with the Word of God and choose to forgive, and dwell in the joy of the Holy Ghost through praise. Glory!

PRAYER FOR A NATION-THAILAND
67% are unreached with the Gospel. The largest religion is Buddhism. The moral blights of sex trade, drug networks, crime syndicates and ecological degradation are on the rise because they are profitable and tolerated in the nation.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for a great revival to storm this land, that the people will have encounters that will lead them to Christ, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, grant unto the leaders of this nation wisdom to navigate the perennial challenges that bedevils the nation, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, teach us to bear one another’s burdens, thereby fulfilling the law of Christ, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that your word will continue to grow mightily and prevail, leading to a mass harvest of souls and revival in our city and environs, in Jesus name.
