 RENEW YOUR COVENANT

Psalm 50:5-6 – “Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself.”“

God loves covenant. Our opening text today highlights the principle of walking with God at a covenant level, which involves connecting oneself to Him by sacrifice.

The commitment of consistently giving to God keeps the heavens open perpetually over the man that practices this principle. By offering to God the first part (first fruit) of your increase for instance, you can activate God’s blessing of abundance upon your life. The priority given to God in honouring Him with your first fruits opens new sources of income unto you and preserves the rest of your harvest (Prov. 3:9). Glory to God!

Therefore, each time you offer up your sacrifices to God, you are servicing your covenant of prosperity with Him and renewing His blessings over your life. He is faithful and just to honour His Word and pour out a blessing. As your oblation goes up to Him as a sweet smelling sacrifice (Phil. 4:18), He will also continually sustain you with His abundance. Say Amen to that!

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SOMALIA
77% of it’s population is unreached with the Gospel of Christ with Islam as the major religion. An infant Somali church is emerging amid great tribulation. Somali Christians are despised and heavily persecuted, even martyred but are also growing in faith and in vision.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ will shine brighter and brighter in the nation, causing the unsaved to come to the knowledge of the truth, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name Jesus, we pray that the leaders of Somalia will be yielded to your voice and your will, that they might lead the people of the nation in the path of righteousness, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we declare that the church of Jesus Christ will continue to wax stronger and stronger in unity and faith, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for missionaries around the world that they will be delivered from wicked and unreasonable men, in Jesus name.
