WALK IN THE FEAR OF GOD

Ecclesiastes 12:13
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

The fear of God does not imply a crippling terror for the person of God, that causes one to run away from His Presence. Rather, it implies a deep reverence and awe of God that moves us to live a life of holiness and prompt obedience to his will.

When we retain the fear God in our hearts, we are conscious that He is always with us, and a desire to please Him above all else becomes our utmost pursuit. We pursue purity, seek to be obedient in all things, and desire to live without offence towards all men, because we reverence Him and only seek to do His will.

Thus, walking in the Fear of the Lord is not a one-time event but a lifelong journey of faith and obedience, lived by the help of the Holy Spirit. So, ask the Holy Spirit right now for His help in living a life of deep reverence for the Lord, so that you may walk into the blessings ordained for you today (Psa. 128:1-2).

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, give me the grace to walk in the consciousness of your greatness and power, living in reverence to you each and every day, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION-TAJIKSTAN
Christianity is a minority religion in Tajikistan. Church services are often disrupted and Christians risk harassment and arrest for holding private prayer meetings or possessing ‘illegal’ religious material

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the light of the Gospel would shine into the hearts of the unbelievers in that nation, so that many more will turn to the Lord.

Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for wisdom upon the leaders of this land, so that they may make policies that will cause the spread of the Gospel in the nation, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, baptize us afresh with the spirit of love and oneness in the Body of Christ, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that as we go for outreaches, let our words be accompanied with miracles, signs, and wonders, leading to the salvation of many souls, in Jesus’ name.
