Automated thanksgiving is more than just continuous thanksgiving. It is a lifestyle of humility that gives thanksgiving a continuous opportunity of expression. Despite our frailties, He still loves us. That is enough to build continuous thanksgiving on.
Take time to ponder and ask yourself, despite your inadequacies and unfaithfulness at ftimes, God has blessed you with life, good health, success and several other earthly benefits. Automated thanksgiving begins with a consciousness that thanksgiving is like breathing. If this is really so, consider the danger of not breathing. You are right! Your spiritual life may be nearing the grave because you have not learnt the art of automated thanksgiving.
Develop the habit of thanking the LORD in all things and at all times. Remember to constantly say, ‘Thank You LORD’, ‘Glory to God’, etc., in your heart and with your mouth as many times as possible. This is the beginning of a life of automated thanksgiving to God.
