ACTIVATE THE FAITH-WORK MECHANISM

James 2:26
 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

It is a known fact that without faith, it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6). Faith is a necessity in walking with God and an important requirement for receiving from God. Yet, our opening scripture today stresses another important factor in our success equation – Work.

By God’s design, faith alone cannot deliver the success you desire, unless it is accompanied by with a level of work that matches what you are believing for. In other words, if you do not get diligent with your work, your faith may fall short in producing results. So, as you learn faith from the Word this month, you must also learn the discipline to work towards your expectations, so that your faith does not stand alone, i.e. without results.

Therefore, to secure the victories that God has planned for you to have this month, it is important to sit down and draw out the work that you must do. For instance, if you are believing God for a business breakthrough, then you must be ready to draw out a work strategy that matches the level of success you envision. Remember, God will make a way, but you must work the work. This is key to walking in victory throughout this month.

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, help me to discern the work that I must do, and be disciplined to execute them, so that my faith may produce results.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SUDAN
Sudanese are mainly Muslims. The nation is yet to recover from physical damage from bombing, fire, and poverty caused by wars. There is a strong need for the training of church leaders in the nation.

Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for the outpour of your Spirit upon the nation Sudan, that will cause a revival of salvation in every part of the nation, to the glory of your name, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for the leaders:Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for wisdom upon the leaders of Sudan to make policies that will encourage the entry of more missionaries into the nation, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
 Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the church will be a force and a light in these end times, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the lost and unsaved souls, that their eyes will be opened to see the door of escape that you have provided for them, in Jesus’ name.
