APPLY THE FORCE OF DILIGENCE

Scriptural Text: Proverbs 22:29
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men ”

Every seed has the potential to grow into a tree and bring forth fruits after its kind, as the capacity for a seed to do this already lies inherent in it. However, it takes more than potential to see the process through.

The seed must be planted, watered, nurtured, and groomed to ensure that it grows into a tree that can produce fruits. Thus, it takes diligence to produce success.

As believers, we are required to be diligent with our businesses. Our opening scripture shows us that although, it is God’s will for us to succeed and stand in high places, it takes diligence for that to become a reality.

The Webster’s dictionary defines diligence as “steady, devoted and painstaking effort to accomplish an undertaking”. Diligence can also be defined as the ability to do the 1% work that validates the 99% of hard work already done. This must be the practice of any believer who intends to experience the greatness inherent in him.

Do you seek relevance in your field of expertise? Focus on your work with all diligence and discipline, giving what it takes to deliver to set standards.

Let the force of diligence propel you to achieve record-breaking success in your work this month, and cause you to stand before kings in your field. Halleluyah!!!

PRAYER FOR A NATION - SUDAN
Sudanese are mainly Muslims. The nation is yet to recover from physical damage from bombing, fire, and poverty caused by wars. There is a strong need for the training of church leaders in the nation.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, help me to be diligent in all I do. Take away laxity and laziness from me, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders:
We are praying for wisdom upon the leaders of Sudan, that they will know you and submit to your will in the governance of the nation, in Jesus Name.

🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( Psalms 122-6 )(Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH:
We pray and declare that the body of Christ will have one mind, and speak with one voice, mission and purpose on earth in Jesus name.

💒PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, pour out your Spirit mightily upon the lost and unsaved souls in our city, so that many would begin to receive the Gospel that we preach.

SPEAK IN FAITH
Scriptural Text: 1 Samuel 17:45
“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied._
in 1 Samuel 17:42-44, Goliath had presented himself against the army of Israel with his imposing size, threats and battle weapons, and no one dared to challenge Him. However, in our opening Scripture, David refused to see his own physical inadequacy before Goliath, who apart from being a giant, also came well equipped for the battle.
David recognized that the battle was not his, but the Lord's, and so he began to SEE the defeat of Goliath and began to DECLARE it, challenging him in the name of the Lord. With this momentum that had welled up in him, he ran towards Goliath and delivered the sling shot that brought the giant down.
This year, refuse to consider the enormity of your situation or to take its threats to heart. Do not allow fear gain access to your heart to kill your momentum.
Rather, see with the eyes of faith what God can do and what He has promised. Then, declare in line what He has said, believing in your heart, knowing that the battle is the Lord’s. When you align with God in faith this way, you will always have the victory. Glory to God!

Father in the name of Jesus, I ask for grace to esteem and consider your Word above any challenge, threat or limitation. Help me to live and act in faith always, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION - SPAIN
The Muslim population is rapidly growing. Drug addiction is a stain on Spain, which rates as one of Europe's spot for heroin and cocaine addiction. This in turn is a major contributing factor in the AIDS epidemic and the crime rate in the nation. Young people need the Gospel, having given themselves over to postmodern materialism and hedonism.
Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for an outpour of Your spirit upon the land, that many will encounter Christ and be saved, in the name of Jesus.
Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will cause passionate believers to rise into positions of authority, and to use their influence to encourage the spread of the Gospel in the nation, in Jesus name.

Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that as we share the word to the unsaved, that these words will not be stolen from their hearts but, will bring about the salvation and restoration of their souls in Jesus name.
