When you choose to follow your own path and live in disobedience, your offerings and sacrifices to God become meaningless.

Your sacrifice is an honour to God because a sacrifice is something special, existing in an honour system. When you go out of your way for someone, it is a way of declaring how special that person is. This is why sacrificing to God is an honour and a declaration of the special place He has in your life.

In Genesis 9:1-3, we read that after the flood, Noah built an altar and offered sacrifices to God. This act of worship and sacrifice pleased God

Did you know that your sacrifice can release your faith to receive from God? Just as Elijah’s sacrifice on Mount Carmel activated his faith and brought down fire from heaven,

Did you know that your sacrifice can catch God’s attention and cause Him to remember His covenants with you? Your sacrifice is like a sweet fragrance that rises to heaven, bearing the unique scent of your heart.

The Gospel is God’s righteous course, His way of extending His righteousness to this sinful world. To favour God’s righteous cause is to make sacrifices that ensure the Gospel is preached, souls are saved, and the work of God is done

Obedience is a sacrifice that requires us to surrender our will and desires to God’s plans. It is easy to obey when things make sense or when we agree with God’s direction. But what about when it is hard or does not seem logical?

Sacrifice is a binding force that solidifies our commitments and strengthens our bonds with our Father. It goes beyond the simple act of giving; it signifies a deeper covenant, a profound promise made through the willingness to give up something precious.
