The church today is under constant attack from the enemy who seeks to undermine its mission and weaken its influence in the world. This spiritual warfare leads to divisions, distractions, and compromises within the body of Christ, making it impossible to have a united front. This is why it is important to engage in fervent prayers for the church.
A vigilant person is one who remains focused on God’s will, seeing clearly what God wants them to do and refusing to let anything turn their mind away from it. In the place of prayer, vigilance is crucial.
The finished work of Christ on the cross has allocated many resources to us, but sadly, most believers don’t know how to access them. Our opening scripture tells us how the Holy Spirit helps us pray the way we ought to, leading us to apply correctly to receive God’s allocation.
The power of agreement is unlocked when at least two people come together, but it multiplies significantly when more believers join in unity.
Today, some believers have resorted to only begging God when they approach the place of prayer. Sometimes, they feel so threatened by a situation that they approach the place of prayer with so much fear and uncertainty, not sure of the outcome of their prayer.
Many believers struggle with stagnation, delay, and unfulfilled promises, wondering why their breakthrough seems elusive. The root of the problem often lies in a lack of fervent, persistent prayer.
Testimony serves as a secondary market of faith. Just as markets allow goods and services to be exchanged, testimonies enable the exchange of faith and encouragement among believers.
One of the reasons many are unable to develop their faith is because they have not trained themselves to be consistent and persistent. If your faith will produce results, it must be a persistent faith—a faith that does not give up.
To sacrifice means to give up something valuable and important to you. This is another manifestation of faith in a beliver, which goes against the default setting in a natural man, which is to think only of oneself.
