Scriptural Text
(John 6:12)
“When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.”
Our scriptural text today shows us how Jesus Christ mandated His disciples to gather up the leftovers just after performing a miracle. Why would He bother about left-overs when He just
miraculously multiplied bread and fish to feed thousands? Despite the surplus He just experienced, He did not tolerate waste. This is instructive.
Saving from the surplus or even the little you have is not a luxury, it is a must! Every man owes the savers debt, and would never be saved from debt unless he saves as a matter of debt.
In other words, you must consider your savings a matter of debt or else you will remain in debt. This is a valuable key in managing your resources.
If you must grow from where you are and continue to have enough, then you must be diligent in managing the little that you have properly, remembering that the discipline to save from what is left, is what guarantees your riches. So, begin today to cultivate the habit of saving, to save yourself from lack. Glory to God!

Dear Father, I ask for wisdom today to manage the resources you have blessed me with in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you inspire in the leaders of the Church, one goal, purpose, vision, and calling that makes for oneness and unity, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for the gift of discerning of spirits and prophecy with accuracy for effective
witnessing, in Jesus name.
