FINISH YOUR TASK

Scriptural Text: 2 Timothy 4:7 (NIV)
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith ”

Just as the Apostle Paul affirmed in our opening text today about finishing his race, completing the tasks set before you is a mark of diligence and discipline.

When you commit to finishing your tasks, you honour God and demonstrate your reliability and faithfulness. Whether it is a small chore or a significant project, each task completed

brings you one step closer to fulfilling your purpose and glorifying God with your actions. This is why you should not

grow weary in getting up each day to face squarely your assignment, persevering and applying the necessary effort to see your work through.

Therefore, strive to finish your tasks with diligence and determination today. Be a faithful steward of the opportunities and responsibilities entrusted to you, always seeking to finish what you started, to the glory of God.

PRAYER FOR A NATION - SWAZILAND
The impact of HIV and AIDS cannot be overstated – it has devastated the population. Life expectancy plummeted to age 32 in 2008 and 26% of adults are HIV-positive. Sixty-one percent of all deaths could be attributed to HIV/AIDS.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for effective ministries that will cause the knowledge of the Word to spread in the nation, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, cause a new generation of leaders who fear you to arise in the nation Swaziland, and by their hands, bring forth a Revival in the nation, in Jesus Name.

🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( Psalms 122-6 )(Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that You will help us to be diligent in preserving the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, in Jesus name.

Father in the name of Jesus, we pull down ever satanic veil that hinders the lost souls in our cities from receiving the light of the Gospel into their hearts, in Jesus name.

SPEAK IN FAITH
Scriptural Text: 1 Samuel 17:45
“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied._
in 1 Samuel 17:42-44, Goliath had presented himself against the army of Israel with his imposing size, threats and battle weapons, and no one dared to challenge Him. However, in our opening Scripture, David refused to see his own physical inadequacy before Goliath, who apart from being a giant, also came well equipped for the battle.
David recognized that the battle was not his, but the Lord's, and so he began to SEE the defeat of Goliath and began to DECLARE it, challenging him in the name of the Lord. With this momentum that had welled up in him, he ran towards Goliath and delivered the sling shot that brought the giant down.
This year, refuse to consider the enormity of your situation or to take its threats to heart. Do not allow fear gain access to your heart to kill your momentum.
Rather, see with the eyes of faith what God can do and what He has promised. Then, declare in line what He has said, believing in your heart, knowing that the battle is the Lord’s. When you align with God in faith this way, you will always have the victory. Glory to God!

Father in the name of Jesus, I ask for grace to esteem and consider your Word above any challenge, threat or limitation. Help me to live and act in faith always, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION - SPAIN
The Muslim population is rapidly growing. Drug addiction is a stain on Spain, which rates as one of Europe's spot for heroin and cocaine addiction. This in turn is a major contributing factor in the AIDS epidemic and the crime rate in the nation. Young people need the Gospel, having given themselves over to postmodern materialism and hedonism.
Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for an outpour of Your spirit upon the land, that many will encounter Christ and be saved, in the name of Jesus.
Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will cause passionate believers to rise into positions of authority, and to use their influence to encourage the spread of the Gospel in the nation, in Jesus name.

Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that as we share the word to the unsaved, that these words will not be stolen from their hearts but, will bring about the salvation and restoration of their souls in Jesus name.
